- How much should I pay? Are you unsure of your exact LRS dues, especially with the March 31, 2025 deadline for the 25% discount? Payment calculations depend on plot size and market value. You can check your LRS payment details on the Telangana LRS official portal (https://lrs.telangana.gov.in/)
- I bought the land from someone else – my name is not on the application. If the property was sold after 2020, the original applicant’s name does not match the new owner's. A name change update may be needed to proceed with LRS.
- The mobile number from 2020 is not available now. If the registered mobile number is no longer in use, applicants will not receive OTPs needed for login and payment verification.
- I forgot my LRS application number. Without the application number, it is difficult to check payment status or track progress on the LRS portal. However, you can solve this by regenerating the lost application number.
- A real estate agent applied for me in 2020. Many applicants had brokers or agents submit applications, and now they are unreachable. Ownership details will need verification and updates, and this can be done if you have the original sale deed and link documents.
- There is a mistake in my name or spelling. Incorrect spelling of names in the application, especially comared to the Sale deed, or the owner's Aadhar card. This includes minor mistakes in the applicant’s name or missing details that may require an official correction.
- There is an error in my land area or market value. Mistakes in entering the land area or market value can significantly impact the LRS fee calculation. In some cases, applicants have been charged penalties as high as ₹2,00,000 instead of ₹20,000 due to incorrect land details.
- My application is stuck at "Pending at L1" – Missing documents. Some applications remain at L1 due to missing required documents, which must be uploaded for further processing.
- My application is stuck at "Pending at L1" – FTL (Full Tank Level) land. Lands classified under FTL (near water bodies) may have restrictions affecting LRS approvals.
- My application is stuck at "Pending at L1" – Prohibited land. If the land falls under restricted or prohibited categories, additional verification and approvals may be required.
- I didn’t apply in 2020 but want to apply now. The Telangana Government has reopened LRS, but new applicants must pay full charges as the 25% discount does not apply to fresh applications.
- The government website is not working. Many applicants report slow response times, crashes, and technical errors while accessing the Telangana LRS portal.
- I made the payment, but my receipt is not showing (404 error). Some applicants have successfully made payments but are unable to download receipts or view confirmation.
- My penalty calculation is incorrect – I was charged too much. Certain applications reflect incorrect penalty amounts, leading to higher-than-expected LRS fees.
